Awards<\/strong><\/h1>\n\n\n\n

Rodolfo Machado and Jorge Silvetti\u2019s first architectural
award was given by Progressive Architecture for their Fountain House, a project they designed together in 1976. Since then, the professional awards received individually and collaboratively are both impressive and extensive. Awards are included here. Similarly, their individual participation as members of the juries of prestigious international prizes is also included on this page.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pritzker Architectural Prize (Jorge Silvetti, 1996 \u2013 2004) <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Pritzker Architectural Prize, established in 1979, is an international prize awarded each year to honor architects whose built work demonstrates a combination of qualities that has produced consistent and significant contributions to humanity and the built environment through the art of architecture. It is one of the most prestigious architectural awards an architect may receive and its jury comprises distinguished architectural professionals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mies van der Rohe Prize for Latin American Architecture (Jorge Silvetti, 2000)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Mies van der Rohe Prize for Latin American Architecture was created by the Fundacion Mies van der Rohe in 1998 to promote discourse and debate surrounding contemporary architecture and urban planning and to recognize outstanding architecture in Latin America. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Veronica Rudge Green Prize in Urban Design (Rodolfo Machado, 1996, 1998, 1999, 2002, 2015)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Veronica Rudge Green Prize in Urban Design awards outstanding urban design projects on an international scale that are understood to have the capacity to contribute to the future.
