Gallery Settings

When you add the Gallery block, you will be prompted to upload your images or select them from the Media Library. Once images have been selected, you can edit the captions and reorder image by clicking into an individual image. Additional settings will be available in the Block Settings tab after you add images to the gallery.

The Gallery block allows you to upload a set of images that display in a grid.

Setting Options:

  • Style: This is found in the Block Settings tab on the right-hand side. If you would like users to be able to click into a larger version of the image, choose Gallery Modal. If you do not want this option, select Default.
  • Columns: This is found in the Block Settings tab on the right-hand side. This lets you choose how many columns will be in your gallery. If the number of images in your gallery is not equally divisible by the number of columns you have chosen, then the gallery will make the last image(s) larger in order to fill in the space.
  • Crop Images: To keep images in a precise grid, turn this on. Your images will be cropped to fit the grid. If you turn this off, they will not be cropped and your gallery will not adhere to a strict grid layout. This is found in the Block Settings tab on the right-hand side.
  • Link To: If you do not want the images to link to anything, select None. If you want the images to link to a page that contains only the image (for example, if it is a very large image that users may want to see on a full screen) then select Media File. This is found in the Block Settings tab on the right-hand side.
